 About Us Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Katie Ervin, owner of 4-Legged Friends Pet Services. In addition to holding two bachelor degrees, I am a member of numerous pet related associations. I am an avid reader of several pet journals, books, websites, and message boards, and have attended numerous seminars on animal behavior and pet care. I have experience both professionally and personally caring for pets and have earned a pet care technician certificate awarded by the American Boarding Kennel Association. I believe that continuing my education is a must in order to provide the very best service to my clients. I am currently working towards becoming a Certified Pet Dog Trainer.

 I opened 4-Legged Friends out of a lifelong passion and love for animals. I have always felt a great affinity with them and there was never a doubt in my mind that they would be a major part of my life. I spent a large part of my childhood caring for the family pets, spending time at the stables, watching the neighbor's pets, nursing injured animals, and bringing home stray cats. Over the past seven years I have spent my free time caring for shelter animals. I am currently a dedicated volunteer at the Humane Society of Washington County. In addition to my love for animals, my husband Bryan and I moved to Hagerstown to offer area residents and their companions a necessary and unique alternative to boarding. I know personally that it always bothered me to uproot our 'fur' babies to the boarding kennel while we were away. Our goal is to provide pet lovers and their companions the benefits that in-home pet care and pet sitting have to offer. |
I am currently owned by Miss Molly, a cocker spaniel, Harley (our newest hound mix addition), four cats Cuddle Bug, TJ, Ozzy, and Harry, and a tank full of fish. The pictures on the bottom shows just a few of the very special furry friends that I share my life with. |
